Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how WealthOSX ("WealthOSX," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the WealthOSX mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address and authentication details needed to sign you in and secure your account. Authentication is handled by our infrastructure provider, Supabase.

Financial information you enter

WealthOSX is a tool you fill in yourself. We store the data you choose to add, which may include:

This information is stored under your account and is used to provide the App's features. Currently, WealthOSX does not automatically connect to your bank — you add or import your data yourself. If we introduce bank-connection features in the future, we will update this policy and our App Store privacy disclosures before any such data is collected.

Imported data (CSV)

If you import a CSV file, it is read and categorized on your device, and the resulting transactions are saved to your account. We do not receive the original file separately from the transactions you choose to import.

Purchase information

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and managed via RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status and a purchase identifier so we can unlock paid features. We never receive your full payment card details.

AI features

If you use the in-app AI Coach, relevant summaries of your financial data are sent to a third-party AI provider solely to generate a response for you. Do not enter information you do not wish to be processed this way.

Technical information

We may process limited technical data (such as basic logs and error information) needed to operate and secure the App.

How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your financial data for advertising.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored in our database hosted by Supabase, protected by per-user access controls so that you can only access your own records. Data is encrypted in transit. Supabase runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.

Children's privacy

WealthOSX is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by notice in the App.
